ABOUT

My full name starts with an N and ends with an N. But you can call me Xannie. Xannie Nguyen.
At the age of 18, I packed my suitcases, kissed my family and friends goodbye and moved to Paris, 10143 km away from Saigon, to study Communication and Sciences of language. Being far from the comfort of familiarity, I find myself fascinated but oftentimes overwhelmed by the abundance of life. Just like the sea, life is wonderfully perplexed. Everyday I  rejoice in new discoveries of magnificent things about nature and people. Everyday I also struggle with many difficulties which I've never thought of in my younger years. These two opposite flux have trained and helped me grow. That, in my definition, is the beauty of life: good days and bad days, success and failure, happiness and melancholy... Wholeness. For that, I should look at vicissitude as challenges, or even as opportunities and cherish every little aspect of life however mundane it may seem, whether it's the people I spend time with, the way I dress, the food I eat or the things I learn because why saving the good parts for just occasional events? So here's to living life to the fullest and to making every second count :))

Sail, sail away, kids.
